Dog regulations Pension Haus am See

  • It goes without saying your dog is house trained.
  • Please assume that our other guests don’t know about your dog reacting to their behaviour. To avoid unpleasant surprises, we would like your dog to be kept on a leash in the common areas.
  • As much as you may not understand, please bear in mind that not all other guests are happy for your dog to approach them. Sniffing and licking or begging is certainly not desired behaviour. Furniture is for our guests, not for your dog.
  • In your own room it would be nice if your dog can keep its own routine, however, we do not want it being on the bed or other furniture. A feeding and drinking bowl is available. Also a place to lie down on is present. Of course you can bring its own belongings.
  • If your dog is in heat, make sure you have the right equipment and protection. Should any unpleasant spots arise, please clean them as soon as possible or ask for our help.
  • Your dog may only stay in the room as long as you are present in the building.
  • We and our other guests appreciate the dog staying in the room during breakfast.
  • Occasional barking is not unpleasant, but we would like to see inappropriate behaviour corrected.
  • When you have been out and about, please check your dog's paws before you come back in. Muddy paws should be cleaned, of course. We provide a bucket of water at the front door. Old towels are also available.
  • The city of Bad Sachsa does its best to provide poop bags in many places. Please make use of them.
